Pop Music’s New Princess “Eva” Smashes onto the Music Scene with Her Hit Single Featuring Lupe Fiasco and a Debut EP, Set for Release August 25, 2009

Gearing up to release her debut EP titled In The Beginning is the Bay Area’s own Pop Princess, Eva. Nineteen years old and singing since she was five, Eva was noticed by the Northern California based label In Ya Face Records in 2007 after hearing her sing at a local concert. The label immediately offered Eva a recoding contract and put her in the studio to begin recording. Eva spent most of 2008 recording with heavy hitter producers, Jonathan “JR” Rotem, Scott Storch and Poli Paul. She recruited superstars’ Snoop Dogg and Lupe Fiasco to be part of her debut project.

Eva also gained notoriety last summer and fall, when she opened up on tour for superstars’ Nas, Talib Kweli, Alicia Keys and Janet Jackson.

Eva’s debut single “Slow Down” features Lupe Fiasco and is impacting at radio now. The hit single was produced by Scott Storch and written by grammy winner Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd. “Slow Down” is already gaining momentum on the west coast and was just released digitally as a single and ringtone. Eva recently caught the attention of My Space Records. who will be supporting the digital release of her EP, In The Beginning, through a series of promotions. “While I am working on finishing up my album in the studio, I wanted to put out an EP for my fans to give them a taste of my music and what I am all about”, says Eva. “I have been waiting for this moment since I can remember and the most important thing to me is my fans”, she adds.

Eva will continue her promotional tour this Summer and Fall visiting radio stations and performing live for fans, while wrapping up her debut album in the studio.

In The Beginning, the EP, will be released August 25, 2009.
